I will start with these and later add another list with more books that have been life changing for me.

"Books have always been my quiet companions during seasons of change, clarity in times of confusion, and catalysts for transformation. These books didn’t just entertain me — they altered how I see the world, how I treat myself, and how I show up for others."

"These books are more than words on a page — they’re guideposts in my journey. I believe that the right book finds you exactly when you need it. If any of these titles resonate with you, I hope they open the same kind of doors they opened for me."

  The Bible

  • How it found me: This sacred text has been part of my life journey since childhood because my dad was a Pastor, and I saw him reading it many times. When I turned 18, I started reading and studying it. Its depth and meaning have given me the wisdom, strength, and knowledge that I have needed as I’ve grown through the years. I believe it is a manual that the Creator has provided for us.

  • What it taught me: The Bible taught me about faith, forgiveness, divine love, and the power of grace. Through its stories, parables, and teachings, I’ve learned how to seek wisdom, walk in purpose, and find strength in surrender.

  • Why it changed me: It grounded me spiritually and became my compass during difficult times. Whether I needed hope, guidance, or healing, I found verses that spoke directly to my soul. The Bible continues to shape how I love others, how I lead, and how I live with intention and humility.

Fe Disruptiva by Pedro J. Cabrisa (Amazon in Spanish only)

  • How it found me: My husband wrote this book and I find it offers a bold and unconventional approach to faith, aiming to unlock hidden mental power and transform personal growth. It combines spiritual principles with practical guidance, encouraging readers to challenge limiting beliefs, embrace resilience and harness their full potential.

  • What it taught me: It taught me that faith doesn't have to be rigid or outdated — it can be alive, uncomfortable, and deeply transformative. Fe Disruptiva challenged me to see God beyond dogma and to embrace a bold, questioning, and passionate spirituality.

  • Why it changed me: It broke down mental and spiritual barriers I didn’t know I had. This book gave me permission to disrupt the old patterns of religious thinking and step into a freer, more personal relationship with faith — one rooted in grace, truth, and courage.

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

  • How it found me: This book crossed my path when I was seeking a simpler, clearer way to live with less stress and more inner peace.

  • What it taught me: It taught me to take personal responsibility for my energy and choices. The four agreements — Be impeccable with your word, Don’t take anything personally, Don’t make assumptions, and Always do your best — have become guiding principles I return to again and again. It helped with limited beliefs that deprived me of joy and peace.

  • Why it changed me: It gave me a practical spiritual framework that helped me unlearn old patterns. I stopped letting others’ words or actions define my self-worth, and I began to show up in life with more clarity, compassion, and power.

Hinds’ Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard

  • How it found me: This book found me during a season of inner struggle — when fear, doubt, and emotional pain felt louder than hope. It was like a balm to my soul. A very close friend gave it to me and said I think you will be very blessed when you read this book. She was right, I have read this book more than 3 times and each time I read I get something new and more in depth out of it.

  • What it taught me: It taught me that transformation is a life journey, not a destination. The path may be steep and painful, but with faith and surrender, fear can be turned into courage and sorrow into strength. There is nothing impossible for God if I believe.

  • Why it changed me: Through Much-Afraid’s story, I saw my own journey mirrored — learning to trust God even in the valleys and believe in the process of becoming. It reminded me that even my brokenness has purpose and that the mountaintop is reached step by step, with grace. I continue living life trusting,  with love, forgiveness and gratefulness.

The Dreamseller by Augusto Cury

  • How it found me: I was drawn to this book during a time when I needed to reconnect with my dreams and remember the power of emotional resilience. Sometimes we put our dreams in a box and forget about them.

  • What it taught me: It taught me that society often conditions us to abandon our dreams in the name of practicality, but true fulfillment and healing come from rediscovering and defending them. It also illuminated the emotional traps — like anxiety, pressure, and perfectionism — that silently drain our vitality and that there is always hope while we are alive.

  • Why it changed me: This book reignited my passion for living with the purpose I was given by God.  It reminded me to value my inner world as much as the outer one. It helped me see that our greatest wealth lies not in what we possess, but in the dreams we dare to pursue — and the courage it takes to keep them alive. I will continue dreaming and pursuing my destiny and purpose in life.

Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins

  • How it found me: This book came to me when I was ready to take ownership of my life and stop playing small. It felt like a direct call to action — a wake-up call to my potential.

  • What it taught me: It taught me that I am not my circumstances, and lasting change begins with mastering my emotions, my decisions, and my beliefs. Tony offered practical tools to rewire my thoughts, set powerful goals, and build the habits that support a fulfilling life.

  • Why it changed me: It lit a fire in me to stop waiting and start creating. This book reminded me that the "giant" — the empowered, purposeful version of myself — has always been inside me. I just needed to wake her up. It is an awesome and liberating feeling like a powerhouse, and being able to empower others.

Your Money Counts by Howard Dayton

  • How it found me: I came across this book when I wanted to align my finances with my values and faith, looking for practical advice rooted in biblical wisdom.

  • What it taught me: It taught me that managing money well is a form of stewardship — a way to honor God and serve others. That the Bible has more verses on money than love, letting us know that money impacts our daily lives and spiritual well-being. The principles of budgeting, generosity, and contentment resonated deeply, helping me see money as a tool for freedom, not stress and that my provided is God.

  • Why it changed me: It transformed my relationship with money from fear and scarcity to confidence and purpose. Your Money Counts gave me a framework to make wiser decisions, build security, and use resources to create impact.
